Waldorf in the Home 4/05

This year's spring conference for parents and Waldorf home schooling families on "Waldorf in the Home" will be held April 16-17, 2005 at the Sacramento Waldorf School. Join more than 200 families for a weekend of inspiration and renewal. A full brochure will be posted here and secure on-line registration will be available in January, 2005. To request that a PDF file be sent to as soon as it is available, send a request to info@informedfamilylife.org.

Keynote speakers on Saturday will be Jack Petrash, speaking on "Navigating the Terrain of Childhood: A Guide for Meaningful Parenting and Heartfelt Discipline," followed by Linda Knodle in the afternoon, providing insights on how we can guide our children from preschool through young adulthood in "Navigating the Terrain of Sexuality." On Sunday, John Cunningham will bring together the streams of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and Waldorf in speaking on "Fostering Genuine Social Development in Our Children--And Ourselves." Over the course of the two days there will be 45 break-out sessions on topics relating to Waldorf parenting, curriculum, home schooling, child development and inner development for parents. There will also be many practical sessions on activities to do with your children, including art, crafts, and much more.
